IGCSE
IGCSE is an abbreviation of International General Certificate of Secondary Education.
In this stage the students study 8 ordinary level subjects which are called IGCSE subjects in addition to 2 Advanced level subjects (AL) they can change one of these two subjects by Advanced subsidiary subjects (AS) in addition to the National subjects which are (Arabic, Religion, Geography, History & Civics).
The IGCSE, AL, and AS subjects are examined by Cambridge University (CIE) or London Board (Edexcel) National Subjects are examined by the Egyptian Ministry of Education.
In the higher grades our mission of education for our students is not only to join the highly-qualified faculties and colleges and score the highest grades possible but also to make them in parallel with the high levels of overseas students.
In this way, they would definitely be able to compete and cope with others in accordance with the global modern progress.
This would broaden their horizons to be well-cultured and have a wide range of knowledge and information. Moreover, they can obtain scholarships in the best acknowledged universities as the British education is known to be internationally recognised.
We cannot also ignore our own customs and traditions as well as the religious aspects that are deep-rooted in their minds. We are always keen on offering the best teaching staff in the IGCSE department to be the number one school throughout Alexandria, if not in the country.
